OK I ran into this problem while playing and can't seem to find a solution. While I was playing the game froze on me so I had to restart my comp unexpectedly when I tried to get on again, at the Party selection screen I can only see 1 of 2 characters I created but the spot for the character is still there, its just blank. So I select the blank spot where my party is supposed to be and host the game and started it, when I start it with that party it either gives me 2 problems:

1.) Freezes on my and gives me the, "Exception Detected" error or
2.) Freezes and on the screen it has some of the in game messeges such as, "Your Party has been defeated", etc. all over the screen

Steps I've tried to fix this problem:
1.) Reinstall the game( twice) - Failed
2.) Download the patch - Failed
3.) Updated all related drivers on my comp - Failed
4.) Check to see if save files are still there(and they are there) - Failed

*Note : When playing my other Charater I created(2 of 2) it works fine. Both Characters are played in Mutiplayer: Internet: Party Mode.

Does anyone have a solution?

CPU: Pentium 4 3.0GHz
Opt. Sys.: Windows XP Pro
Memory : Kingston 512
Display: Radeon AIW 9800 128MB
Sound: Creative SB Extigy
HD: 2 WD 160 7800 rpm


*Note: Playing on the Character worked before the crash inident*

Try uninstalling the drivers through Add/Remove programs, THEN reinstall the latest drivers (install the one WITHOUT Catalyst Control Center), or try loading a previous save.
