I am in spellhold and I am on one of the puzzles. The one where you put the things into the bowls the statues are holding. I understand a few but could u guys help me?

Specifically, from the walkthrough :
"Here is the order that they need to go, starting with the statue to the left of the door and continuing left - Star Medallion, Gold Circlet, Worn Out Boots, Water, Sundial, Sun Medallion, Sword Medallion, Gagged Head, Mirror, Hourglass, Skull."

how do i kill dace, i dont have a stake, where do i get one

how do i get the painting from the statue that sends disentigrate at me when i take it?

Take someone with a high magical save and let him/her take it.Viconia would be perfect here.Surely you can just load until you get it,but that is a little...you know...

Or cast Death Ward on someone which should provide immunity. It's a fourth level cleric spell.

AFAIK, the other paintings set off a Sunfire trap and Cloudkill. So haste is also a good idea. Just don't move the character until the spell hits- or the area it starts just follows you.

Should properly have been asked in a new thread , but anyways....

Thoese are "High level abilities", which you get if you have Throne of Bhall expansion installed, and reach highlevel (differs a little for each class, but is listed in the Throne of Bhaal manual).

If you're still in Spellhold, you'll be a long way off from that, unless you're soloing.

It should still apply if you are in the Underdark. You might get access to the first HLA's (High Level Abilities) in Chapter 7. Maybe a bit earlier if you explore a lot of Watcher's Keep (if you have TOB).

I got them in Chapter 6 without watchers keep.Not for all charecters though.My thief bursted Anomen up to 12 when i met him and so i already have 2 special abilities before going to the place needed in Chapter 6.
