Who should I dump?

Ok After a little incident in spellhold I had to reload to the end of Chap. 3, And now im going to dump someone for Yoshimo so I can get Imoen afterwards(althoug Im not so sure if I should get her).
My Current Party
*Minsc(and Boo)-Ranger level 11(tank, With lyliacor, I love that sword
)
*Keldorn-Inquisitor level 11(tank,with Carosomyr)
*Me-Stalker Level 12
*Jaheira-Fighter/Druid Level 10(romanced
)
*Nalia-Mage/Thief Level 13 (Teach her some good spells, like greater malision)
*Aerie-Cleric/Mage Level 10 (She is the healer in all the sense of the word,also teach her some nice mage spells.)
So should I replace someone for Yoshimo and afterwars Imoen?Also...since Jaheria dosent want to leave Imoen on her own....im not sure if I should
Currently Im debating If I should kep Nalia,althoug Ive kept her since the beginig of the game.
Thnx =P

Well since you are romancing Jaheira, your obvious choice would be Nalia - since Imoen is pretty rendandant with her. Altenratively, Minsc would be the other one to drop. Keldorn is much more useful in the long haul. The others seem pretty essential to your set-up.

Yes,i agree with Faust aswell-kick Nalia.But i personaly dislike Keldorn so I`d say:kick him.That I suggest always,but you already have a two-handed-sword-wielder.The best one to get would be a proffesional mage...Edwin perhaps.Keldorn is only useful because he can wield the Holy Blade,nothing else.

I'd have to agree as well. Her thieving skills are not needed once you get Imoen, and Imoen is as good mage as her as well. Besides, having someone else leaving your party would result in too much spellpower. 2,5 arcane casters is way to much. As of right now, I'd say that you also have way to many tanks so I'd personally leave Minsc and Nalia, pick up Imoen. 2,5 warriors is much, 3,5 is way too much. Besides, you level up faster the fewer you have.
No, personally I'd kick Minsc, Keldorn *and* Nalia... and Jaheira as well. Then picked up Viccy, Immy and gone for the ToB-guy. But hey, that's what I always do... I have a hard time even considering another party combo. ^^
But seriously, I know what it's like during the first playthroughs, I never played with less than 6 chars either. (though I wouldn't consider it for a sec nowaday), so go with Immy replacing Nalia and ToB-Guy (in case you have ToB) replacing Minsc or Keldorn when the time comes. Keldorn going Carso and ToB-guy going Gram would be a... strange, yet powerful combination indeed.

Kick out the Stalker! j/k
Uh... hate to be predictable... but get rid of Nalia, Imoen and Nalia both fit the same role. You don't really need both.
Definitely don't get rid of Keldorn if he's wielding Carsomyr, that would be a great loss for you.
Keldorn going Carso and ToB-guy going Gram would be a... strange, yet powerful combination indeed.
It would also require a fine Reputation blancing act. And before you get Gram, you could go with Soul Reaver. Now that would be a combination. Holy goodness and evil retribution. Not sure if Keldorn and TOB guy have any issues though, don't think so.
Swap Nalia for Yoshimo so you have a free slot in your party for Imoen and you get to take his heart to the Ilmaterians later for 90000XP I think.

Come to think of it, do you get his heart in the copper coronet if you don't take him with you?
And I don't recall either Immy or ToB-guy ever having a problem with anyone. Oh well, they're more or less attached to certain characters for sure, but they hanv't ever broken out and battled to death. I'm 99.9% sure Immy wont, and I'd be mighty surprised if ToB-guy did. It's probably 'cause you're more or less supposed to have them in your party, which would be unfair if they had deadly disputes with other NPCs.

I don't think TOB guy has that many disputes, but you have to admit it'd be starnge if someone like him and a Paladin got on perfectly
. That's where I would expect the argument to come from- Keldorn, but I don't think my Prima guide mentions any arguments either.

I think you may be right about the 200,000XP. I doubt you'd get the heart from the Copper Coronet. Think how easy it'd be, either you carry it through the Underdark or you miss Yoshimo's death and take his heart 200 yards for a giant XP reward.
I think you only hear Yoshimo ask for Ilmater's forgiveness when he dies if you're there at the same time (so if he was in your party at Spellhold).

Oh yes,forgot that thing.
-little spoiler-
It is true that you Can Not get the heart from Copper Coronet.I didn`t take yoshi to my party and when i returned from spellhold he just died .It was like some evil fiend had kept him alive for a very long time and then suddenly left his body.That might have caused the death of Yoshimo.

It was a geas spell that Irenicus cast on him, binding Yoshimo to his goals. If he was unable to fulfill them he dies a nasty death.

Did you get that idea by yourself?Or is it a fact?I remember something like that..but that might have been some other place,some other game even!Your opinion(or fact)seemes more logical than mine though.

I believe Irenicus tells you, after you enter Spellhold.

I don't know. I've always had him in my party so I get the quest with his heart and an empty slot for Imoen.

Guys, if you're going to include spoiler info such as that about Yoshimo in this thread, please put SPOILER at the head of post revealing this. It's years since the game's been released, but we *still* get new players who doni't want to know all the plot and character twists in advance.

Agree re Imoen and Nalia duplicating. However, I would boot Imoen (when you find her). If Nalia's been with you since the start you might find that you are losing a lotta mage levels by kicking her out.

I ended up letting Aerie go
I kept Yoshimo, Minsc, Jaheira, from the beginning. I added Aerie early on and kept her for quite a while. My last addition was Anomen (yeah I know he duplicates Aerie in the cleric job) he seemed to have a lot of potential despite his irritating quips. My PC is a Paladin. As I was getting farther into the game I began to realize that Aerie was going to take an agonizingly long time to reach each level of mage after 11th (750,000 xp since she has to split it with cleric). Plus, since my PC is a Paladin and Anomen had risen high enough to be a fairly effective cleric I thought I might be better off switching to Nalia. I really like Aerie but I was guessing that for the later stages of the SoA game she would maybe be 14th level at best. I had no idea what Imoen would be when I freed her from spellhold (turned out it was 11th) so I feared I might be underpowered in the mage category by the end of SoA. Although Nalia missed out on enough experience for two higher levels (about 800k) before I dropped Aerie she is already as high as Aerie is likely to go and I am in the Underdark. Although they are "almost" twins I thought it might be fun to have 2 mages. So I have both Nalia and Imoen. Anomen just hit 18th level now and is also effective in melee. My Paladin with Minsc and Jaheira make a pretty strong front. I don't have a real thief any longer but at this point with virtually everything done in Athkatla I don't think I will really need one. Hated to do it but I dropped Aerie. I will undoubtedly keep her in a future run through when I use a different PC. (Also gave everyone a lot of experience by having Imoen write dozens of spells into her spell book. I seemed to find at least 2 of about every spell from 1st to 6th level while doing quests)

SPOILER
Nope, he dies when you walk in, but his heart isn't there.
I was so shocked on that first play through... I'd always harboured secret hopes for Yoshi and my character
wouldn't that be an interesting (if necessarily short) romance mod?
And I'm going with general opinion on Nalia, she and Imoen are the same class, except Imoen's a better Theif. If you go to Spellhold late, though, and Imoen's level is lower, she can be a real encumbrance. This play through was the first time I ever left her in Spellhold, I felt so guilty!

If it helps at all, I've just finished SoA with Aerie, Imoen and Nalia in my party of 6. Imoen got to 15th level, Nalia 19th and Aerie 15/14th.
Having 3 mages proved quite interesting, particularly combining multiple Breach-type attacks: Breach, Ruby Ray, Pierce Shield, clobber x n -> dead
