any advise in getting across?? the walkthrough says jump but i keep landing in the pit below.
man this game is so quirky.

You have to time it right. That is the only way. You could try a time crystal, but I don't know how helpful it would be.

Save before you try the jump so you can reload instead of running around down in the pit time after time. Someone suggested that there is no benefit to running before jumping. I haven't had a chance to try it yet but if they are right you should be able to inch up to the trap door (even standing in midair) then just press 'jump' and 'forward' at the same time. Otherwise the way I've made that jump is to walk up to the edge of the trap door then back away to help with the timing then make your run/ jump. Keep holding down forward after jumping. D

time crystal makes the jump much easier

I tried several times, then I tried this time crystal and I was over the first time! also got me over the water jumps (shadow ruins) and the falling bridges (draedoff temple)

thanks for the tips.. i did finally make it. i used the time crystal like a few have said, it worked. after about 8 tries without it. i made it the first time with the crystal.
