If I'm going LS, I usually go for the sentinel, mostly for the constitution mastery. If I'm playing the DS, I'd go for the sith lord.

I like the Weapon Master/Marauder, because of the great bonuses you get for two-weapon fighting. Not to mention, you get great bonuses for shrugging off pain, which makes you a a force wielding tank. Great fun!

i know sith marauder is good in close combat :p
but sith lord would be cool with force crush :p
Does LS jedi master has a special ability??

Yep. They get Force Enlightenment, which combines the best of force speed, armour, and valour. Pretty useful, but not nearly as unstoppable as force crush. Then again, the dark side is supposed to be the quick easy path, right?

I dont think I've used force crush more than once on DS...I like blasting everyone to heck with force storm. If I feel like fighting them with my uber lightsaber, I sometimes let them get close. :p

People like force crush because of the raw power over your victom. It is said that at certain levels, such as Sion, it just takes 3 force crushes. That scares me, and it should you, as well.

Me, I use Foce Storm LS or DS if I'm facing large amounts of people...of course, after using force wave...which is why I rarely use the guardian. You depend on it too much on it. So you have to make sure that your lightsaber is constantly in great shape for any type of encounter. A sentiniel gives you much more leeway in what you do, and how you act and make your character.

No, depending on the type of prestige class, you also gain other unique abilties. Usually addons to stats like constitution and strength. Also, LS powers such as heal and force aura, enlightenment, are easier, stronger and cost less FP to use.

There shouldnt be a limited amount of Force Power in any star wars games because the star wars universe doesnt have a limited amount. jedi on the movies use all the force they want except they dont because that proves ur a ****y with a lightsaber. oh well i guess its alright since people over use FP anyway.

I dont really like being a Jedi Master if i am its for the title. I usually prefer Sith Lord, Jedi Weapon Master or Jedi Watchman/Sith Assasin. Did I spell Assasin right?

The only time i like Force Crush is on Sith Troopers and Assassins because they do not have as much XP so they are easier to kill.

What exactly does Crush Opposition do anyway i never noticed what it did and i had Crush Opposition 5.

For crush opposition, look at the definition in the game. Sp, assassin.

In any case, wouldn't a Jedi get kind of tired if he used the force in every single fight for an hour straight?

I use the Watchman, because of the defensive ability in the class. And the Force Camouflage. I always envied Juhani for that ability for some reason.

I like the Watchmen, as well. They are a nice balanced class. The defensive bonus was nice, as well. Force Camouflage was cool...but not overly useful. I wish stealth was more useful in the game.

Sith Lord. Never really saw the point in using crush opposition though...

Jedi Master, as I've found that your character is plenty effective fighting even when he has a small number of combat feats. Though you do end up picking alot of Powers you don't necessarily need, the versatility helps. All of those combat feats are overkill for the, say, weapon master or marauder.

@ Tony, what do you use if you play darkside usually?

I like the force powers and all, but sooner or later you pick up all these powers that stopped being particulaily useful about 1/3 of the way through the game.

Sentinel for me also for the anti poision thing. I dont stop for poision mines, I run through them. That makes it easier...

I love those crazy guys: they got their fury and their improved combat feats and..........ummmm....... that's about it, but they still kick arse. Drive one home today!

back to the controversy ovr force points... ther should be no controversy i see the logicall reason to resrict unlimitd wave lightning crush combos but you supposedly draw your power from the force the LIMITLESS life force that sorounds you its not like magicka in morrowind or other games, its not bound to your body its just something you channel through you, and unles you overheat or soomething thers no point to not being able to use it.

Well - if you see in the movies, then even Yoda struggles physical with keeping things levitating in his battle in EP2 and EP3, when they throw around all sorts of large objects - as well as rasing the X-Wing in EP5.

This could easily and quite logical be deducted into the "issue" of force power points.

Besides - how incredible easy do people want games. Force power points is one of the few balancing traits in this otherwise very easy game, to infact stop you from running around blasting everything - so in that aspect it is "magicka" from Morrowind and Spells from D&D and so on.
Having unlimited force powers would be just bad and imbalacing, and make this game into a full blown arcade style action game. If they removed powerpoints, they'd have to remove most force powers and only go with the ones used in the games which are a few pushes and a little lightning and so on, here and there. And not something free of choice.
