In the sanctum where you meet the seer, where are you supposed to find the candles that you need to re-establish the shield?

They are flying around in the whirlwind. You have to step up to the edge of the whirlwind and press 'shift' to catch them. Then place them on the tables in the corner. If you catch a skull it will blow up. After you get the candles you can kill the specter. D
