Okay I got some questions that have been bugging me and I was hoping you (the reader) could help me out. First, how do the learning bonuses work. I have no idea so any info would work. And second, is Backstab any good for singleplayer. So far, I havent been able to touch the back of any monster. Is there something that I am missing? Thanks, and thanks for your input.

As far as I can tell learning bonuses simply lower point cost for increasing a skill. Also, I believe they stack such that if you have 3 classes that provide learning bonuses for Arcane magic, the cost to increase that will be much, much lower than if you had no learning bonuses for Arcane magic. Backstab will probably only be useful in single player if you like to summon monsters to "tank" for you while you flank the monsters. Just my 2cp.

Learning bonuses do stack, so that means it is important to know what you want to be best at, so that you can lower the costs for the appropriate skills.

i dont see how you could possibly get to the back of a mob, even if i summon something they still attack me instead

You might have to have 'sneak' as well as 'backstab' to ever see the back of a mob in DL. Occasionally if you summon something you can get to the back of individual creatures. D
