I am currently replaying IWD2 and I just cleared out the last of the Aurelite temple. But now I realize that I have not learned the CAGED FURY name... I accidentally killed all the Abishais, Nickademus is for some reason not talking about it and that djinn will neither say a word. Any suggestions...? I reaaaaally dont wanna go through the entire temple again :(

Demon's name (SPOILERS)

AFAIK, killing the abishai shouldn't affect interaction with the demon; it should only take some XP away from the party for that quest.

I don't think that completion of this quest is critical to continuance of your game. Try talking to Nathaniel to see if he opens the way to the next chapter.

The demon is not saying anything? Its name is...

AEIJ-KLLENZR'T

if that helps any.

Unfortunately, no... Nathaniel does NOT open any way. I will HAVE to to destroy the altar.

I can talk to the demon but the only options available are like "Who are you?" and "What are you doing here?" which will lead to "bla bla bla Surrender now!" upon which he answers that he will humour me for this time and the conversation is at an end. My character dont know his true name = no killing him

I think there is a genie on the ground floor that reveals 'Caged Fury' true name. After getting that you can use it on the demon whirlwind himself (Caged Fury).

The genie is near some stairs down guarded by ice trolls.

Yes, the genie is the djinn i refered to. He is unwilling to tell me anything about Caged Fury.

If you are disrespectful/insulting toward the genie he will not talk to you. (I know from experience). Fortunately when initially discussing the matter with the abashi my diplomat character also had a high intelligence and worked out what the party was dealing with allowing me to complete the quest anyway.

You may have to restart the Temple :(

Although you will have learned a valuable lesson about saving your game regularly and not randomly massacring creatures. If you haven't play Morrowind, you soon will. :D

I once had the same situation (pissed off the genie, not enough intelligence to know from xaan)...

I talked to the altar demon a few times and convinced it that there was no hope for it to get more sacrifices.

The "talker" was a LG priest of Ilmater with 12 Ch and maybe 5 pts in diplomacy (but I have no clue what is necessary to get the dialogue option).

Anyhow I'm sure the game always gives a way to make it through (unless you kill someone like say Ulbrecht).

I succeeded the first time without even knowing that it was a demon or his name. Just telling him that there will be no more sacrifices should do the trick.
