Trouble in the Shawdow ruins

Do I have to start over? :confused:
I got the Kingston Sword before I visited the room with the 2 Athena Gaurdians. In doing so I ended up with no remaing shawdow stones to activate them. I have the other 3 glyphs, but need this last one. Is there a place for me to get more Shadow stones to activate them. What the heck Happened???? :confused:

If you used up the two shadow stones you can find north of the entrance while playing the chess game, then so far as I know, yes, you'll have to go back to an earlier save.
