Does anybody know how to create new "bound" items? I'd sure like to be able to summon better armor then Daedric, in fact possible glass or iron. Thanks to anybody who can tell me anything.

Let me get this straight...you think that iron is better than daedric?
I suppose that if you really want to, you can change the type of item that Bound summons by going to the Weapons or Armour section in the construction set, then changing the stats and picture/models on the bound items. Why you would want to is beyond me.

I've not seen it done on popular modding forums, and I don't know that it can be done. In effect, it means creating a new spell, and spells are hard-coded into the game.

i can only join the amazement here.. Daedric is the best heavy armor there is and it's the only kind that can be created by the bound item spells.. glass armor is the best light armor, so it all depends what you want to use.. iron sucks big time, it's IIRC the lousiest heavy armor there is.. or damn close.
bound daedric stuff doesn't weigh anything so...

Let me guess. You've never used Bound Items before.

I'm wondering if maybe the poster simply doesn't like the look of Daedric. IMO, it is one of the more attractive official armors... But hey, to each their own if that is the case.
I suggest, though, if you want an armor more conventional in appearance, that you check into Nordic Mail, if you have the Bloodmoon expansion. It does not look otherwordly and it has quite a high armor class. Whether or not you could create a bound armor spell that summons the stuff, however, I have no idea.
