take a paladin, undead hunter
imunity to level drain and hold
has the slayer transformation
the bonus +2 saving throws
+1 weapon imunity
20 res to fire, lightning and cold
+10 mag res
but, he attacked sarewok to gain the hidden stat bonus, which is +1 con for paladins..and getting +2 strength upon placing the tear, and becomming neutral evil, which allows him to wear the human flesh +5
equipment
ring of gaxx
free action ring, he may be imune to hold..but not slow and web, entangle
carsomyr, he can hold it still..the alignment change doesnt affect his class
helm of balduran, for extra save and AC
cloak of mirroring
belt of inertial barrier
boots of speed for that extra 1/2 attack and good walking speed. and its not cancelled by the free action ring..a lvl 17 pally will have 3 attacks with it
human flesh +5, awesome save bonus and mag res
gauntlets of weapon expertise
and last the 10 meg rest amulet, bringing his mag res up to 100!
and for extra weapons
ibratha for being able to conjure mirror image, a great help in combat
and daystar, for to whack hordes of undead with the sunray
he have 2 prot from magic scrolls, the efreeti bottle, and the book of infinite spells set at true seeing
his ac is -4..people migth complain its too little..but just a single casting of barkskin can solve that issue..since the game doesnt handle AC lower than -10
and his awesome saves will allow him to shrug off practically anything that his mag res cant handle..and the prot scrolls are for when encountering mages with imprisonment or powerword kill..when he hasnt bolstered himself with death ward
please give me your commments

As far as I know, only those of evil alignment may use human skin - and since paladins are LG...
Futhermore a lot of the things you suggest, are only available for one battle (the one with Irenicus).
If I were to play a paladin, I would probably go with the inquisitor kit. They are the best at dispel magic. They can cast true sight and are immune to hold/charm.

read closer..you become neutral evil if you choose to attack sarevok in hell and place the tear....export him....he is a breeze to use as a support char..very deadly, able to shrug off anything

How can he wield Carsomyr then?. If he is evil he cannot be a paladin (unless the game is bugged).
And what is the point of playing the game in the first place? I mean, if the only reason for playing the game is to have a "cool" character to export, you might as well use shadowkeeper and make an even more deadly character. (And it will save you quite a bit of time, too).

he didnt lost his class..only the selfish quest in hell will trigger that you loose your clas if you take the evil side....taking evil in any of the others..you will become neutral evil
so he is an evil paladin wielding a sword of good..
yes, i was bored, and was looking to see what uber char i could make..that still was legit

What are you talking about Rumagent? Of course the point of the game is to make your character as powerful as possible. If you can't see the difference between doing it by the rules and using shadowkeeper, you're missing the whole point of the game.
As for the evil Paladin, there was a post not long ago by someone complaing about how they had to choose an evil option and how it took away their Paladin class. If this hasn't happened to you, it must be a bug of somekind. We all want the +2 strength for attacking Sarevok, but I would feel to guilty about playing as an evil Paladin and taking advantage of such an obvious game flaw (Actually, I felt to guilty about being evil even as a Fighter/Mage).
If that doesn't worry you, go for it

And how did you get a Paladin with three attacks? Boots of speed are not supposed to give you an increased attack rate (and I'm sure they didn't for my character) but even with that you shouldn't be able to get up to three should you? I think maybe there is some bug preventing my guys from having as many attacks as they should...

Two protection from magic scrolls won't last very long (I felt to guilty to ever use mine. They were still sitting in my scroll case at the end of the game).
I have to agree with Rumagent that Inquisators are better. True sight and dispel magic are very helpful. The dispel ability on Carsomyr never really seemed to do much for me, but if it works for you, you may not need the inquisator abilities. My boof of infinite spells only had fireball and some crappy level two spell. It seems there's all this shit I'm missing out on

Slayer takes the fun out of the game too. I don't think I would have used it even without the penalty, but again, that's up to you.

its only the selfish quest that causes loss of pally status
the boots do give a 1/2 attack, but only to figther classes..allowing me to get up to 3 attacks
figthers gain a 1/2 at lvl 7 and 14..and think that it either was my specialization in two handed weps or two hander mastery that gave the rest...and speed factor 1 for carsomyr is quite nice..carsomyr dispells enemy magic on hit...ive removed mirror images..stoneskin..you name it..they become sitting ducks..and carsomyr gives dispell ability on its on..and coupled with the book set at true seeing you can emulate an inquisitor quite easilly
and for the slayer, i think its weak,a fully decked up figther, or paladin is much stronger..and you only get to use the slayer for around 30 secs until you take damage...and if you have over 18 con..you go down to it!..with ceom fayer you can get the 25 strength...and the 25 dex is not much worth on a melee baddie...and a kensai can get 4 attacks i think..for not to talk about a monk and his fists..

Looks pretty good to me. I would swap out the Ring of Free Action for a Ring of Gaxx #2 which can be gotten through pickpocketing. Your saves should be so low you don't need to worry about anything the free action ring would protect you from.
I might also use the Bracer of Blinding Strike rather than Weapon Expertise. +1/+2 is nice but not as nice as 6 attacks and the Imp Haste from the Rings of Gaxx doesn't seem to last more than 1 round.
Also, replacing the Belt of Inertial Barrier with the STR 21 belt would give you a 23 Str with the +2 bonus.

the damage reduction from the belt is rather usefull, he will need it for ranged attacks, and the breath attack save is quite good
hmmm, i think the attack cap is 5..when i haste i never seem to get more than 5

but if we add a second ring of gaxx, the 10 mag res amulet will become useless as we have 110 res (10 percent from hell, 20 from the 2 rings, 20 from human flesh and 50 from carsomyr) and replacing it will the amulet of spell warding, increasing the spell saves with 2 more!

With Haste the attack limit would be 5 since it only adds one attack to the max 4 you can get without it...
Improved Haste actually doubles your attacks and I've seen Minsc with 7 and I think my Kensai would have 8.

in my oppinion its cheating to get another ring of gaxx...youre not supposed to steal it, then take it again from kangaxxs corpse

by Bordin_Steelaxe
Well, you don't think it is cheating to go through the game as a paladin, then attacking sarevok, becoming evil, still being a paladin that can use carsomyr and then got hrough the game again? That's just as much cheating as stealing the ring from kangaxx before taking it from his corpse since you will be able to get it again no matter what

It is really simple: Kangaxx actually has TWO rings ... only one ring is shattered once he is killed, if he has both. You just make a 'preemptive' rescue of that second ring, knowing you will get the other one once you kill him. Easy, isn't it??

It's kind of pathetic if you have to justify being an evil cheating thief

Well for me the choice is cleare - I'll never be able to play a paladin - because, I can't play Lawfull Good - my char. has to be chaotic - and most of the time neutral

i tried the haste bit today..both with bracers of blinding strike and ring of gaxx..you dont exceed 5 attacks

I'll have to test it out. Did you try casting an Improved Haste on the character? I know I have seen 7 attacks from that.
