Another reload question - Stake Gun

How do I reload THAT? I've never found any ammo to buy for this, and the only things I supposed should reload it were... heh... stakes
But that didn't work either...

You tried arrows?
Just a guess I never used the stake gun, if you tried having stakes in your inventory with no luck.
Seems the weapons dealer in NY has most everything so if he doesnt have it, no clue.

I could have sworn the vendor in New York sold ammunition for the stake gun. You might peruse his inventory again, to make sure. If not, you may be stuck with either spawning in the ammo via the console or sticking with what you have.

The only thing these things are good for is selling them for raw cash.

It's still strange there is a weapon for which there is no ammo to be found anywhere
