Chapter 3

I have not followed any of the walkthroughs, just been playing it on my own. I can't seem to finish chapter 3 what exactly is required?
either
complete all of Aran Linvail's quests and get to Brynnlaw
or
complete all of Bodhi's quests and get to Brynnlaw
