Hoping these are not stupid questions:

1) Do Assassins get to UAI at 3million xp?

2) Are items designed for one specific person available with this skill? eg, Valygar's armor is only useable by Valygar ... or there is Cernd's cloak ... etc

1) Yes

2) Not 100% sure, but I think so, yes.

1) yes, BUT if you start out assassin and dual class, you will NOT get thief high level abilities. multiclass, no problem

2) yes and no. valygar armor has a wis or charisma requirement, not all characters can use it. attribute requirements are not overridden by use any item. :p

That amazed me since I didn't know of it before, I just found that out like last week. Attribute Requirements aren't overriden by UAI. :s

1. Yes. You get it at level 24 or around there.\

2.Yes you di. My Assassin is using  Montiollos  cloak even though the cloak is only usable by rangers.

hope that explains it.

Hehe, it has already been explained and he meant playable characters, like Valygar, Cernd, Jan and those who starts with special equipment. Montolio is not one of them. :P

Too bad that Edwin's Amulet isn't removable. If it were, a thief/mage wearing it would be one of the absolutely strongest character ever.

Thats not what I meant though. I meant that I have a thief that Is using Items that he shouldnt have been using, like montiollos cloak. that was just an example. He was also using Foebane +5, all thanks to use any item.

It's the difference between items in the game that were designed for different classes and items designed only for one character (like Edwin's Amulet). Another good item is Imoen's belt from Chapter 1. That has excellent abilities and resistance I believe :D

I couldnt remove that though, and imoen didnt have it when i got her after spellhold

as for items like nalias ring and edwins amulet, if you can remove them and you have use any item, u can use them.

That's the point, it is a very powerful item. You'd probably need to use ShadowKeeper or NearInfinity to drop the item and make it usuable for other caharcters. It's just intended to keep Imoen alive in Chapter 1 so the story can commence correctly.

Among other things :D .

I've never tried making it undroppable, but I think I read a big list of abilities in there. Immunity to curse, maybe poison and others I can't remember.

Serious cheese...
