Gee, I wonder where I got this idea from. Do you people know Deedlit the elf that stars in the movie? She definatly reminds me of Aerie in BG2. Any other characters and NPCs that remind you all of?

I've only seen this once here in Germany, and u r right, Aerie looks like this elf...and is as childish...

I've never heard of this movie. Is it on in the U.S.? I would love any AD&D movies!

Sorry, I should have known better. I think I have even heard somewhere of the Lodoss War being anime...just forgot I guess. Anyway, I like anime, so is it showing in the U.S.? And Drakron, I agree that elves look weird in anime, and I used to get my friend really angry when I heckled her about it.
And if that is some sort of joke mikel, I don't get it. Otherwise, a Tonka Truck is a plastic child toy. I think it's a dump truck that can come in matchbox car size, or in a larger size (like 1 or 2 feet in length)

Sorry, mikel, I was reading back over my post and I just remembered that you could be from anywhere in the world. It's just that life has made me so cynical... In the U.S., not knowing something like that would be a joke. And since I'm a *little* out of touch with society, I frequently am the butt of such jokes. Please accept my apologies.

Mikel, Magusg; I thought they were metal? And always quite large. But both my sons are way beyond Tonka (they are more into Toyotas...).
EDIT: Magusg; have you seen the Dungeons and Dragons movie that was released last month? I haven't but would like too. Maybe this weekend.

Eh... You could be right Anatres. Like I said, I'm *kinda* out of touch

By the way, ever play the game Master of Orion II: Battle at Antares? Just wondering.

Magusg; Nope, never heard of it. And, since your profile is a bit lacking, why are you so 'out of touch'? I don't mean to pry, just curious.

I'm a bit reclusive by nature. I strive to overcome it, but it IS my nature after all. Nobody else I know has even played BG2. That's why I really love this forum. I can talk about my favorite game all I want and nobody can stop me

I also love the great people here. I came here to get an answer to a problem I had in BG2 a few weeks ago, and I just got addicted to this forum. I'm a real computer nerd, so here I can gather with others like me (no offense).
One question, Anatres. How old do you think I am?

Magusg; No clue. How old do you think I am?
EDIT: And thanks for the 'update' to your profile! Figured you were a Yank since the Europeans are probably all sleeping about now!

I think you're in your thirties, because you said something about your son... But come on, give it your best shot. Something in my wording, language, or demeanor must give something away. Give a guess, any guess, and I'll tell you.

You're about twenty years off on me. Most of the voluntary recluses I know are beyond 50. But I reserve the right to be wrong about that!

Okay, I made a fool of myself, now it's your turn. You still haven't made a guess...

I see no fools here.
I could have given you a few more clues about my age like most of the posters here could be my grandkids! (And my oldest wasn't born until I was 38. This past November was the first Presidential election he could vote in....).
I thought I had guessed with my comment about 'voluntary recluses' but I would say you are probably in your forties.

Hmmm, I know you aren't Older then him, because only someone young would try to get him too look in your text for maybe a mistake. I myself have no clue but at 18 I've used that Tactic my self. Works like a charm, people guess decades over my age when I try it

Ron you bum... I'm 17. Surprised? I'm a junior in high school. I have lots of hard classes like AP Calculus, AP Chemistry, AP US...AP classes count for college credit at most colleges, if you pass the test.

I would have guessed between 30 and 40.
56 would put you at about twice my age. That also means your full of a lot of knowledge.
(possible help)
Later I might need the help of someone with your knowledge. That is if you help Cavaliers out.
