I went to try to play my Character and when I went to load game, the game closed and said something ablot assertion failed InfScreenLoad.cpp or somethin. I took my character out of the save file in the database, and when i went to load game, it worked just fine.then I put it back and it screwed up. I never messed around with my file, but is it my character that is screwin it up?
I really need help on this...

I actualy had the same problem,or atleast i think so,with BG1 tutu.
This is what i had:When i start the game, everything is fine...start new game works, multiplayer works like always, but then i click on the Load Game button and the game crashes. This was a quite long time ago and i don`t remember the error anymore but i saw that all my charecter portraits were gone along with the save game photos. For a second or less i saw this picture and then the game shut down.Is this the same problem?
I got rid of it by reinstalling TuTu some times and doing some stuff but that won`t work for you.Anyway, when i got it right again, then all the dialogs were screwed up.Those of you who have played BG1:The time you must go and meet Duke Elhan(Eltan)and he offeres you a job, then i couldn`t say `yes`.I only could say`i don`t tolerate this kind of subterfuge`.After some weeks of BG2 and Morrowind mixed with Diablo i started the game again...
I also got some questions for you Berethor-
1.When did this start?i had some blue screen before this.
2.Just to make sure:no Shadowkeeper or such,right?

I got this a while ago as well. The only save I had was one where i had about 1.000k exp on a solo char, so no big loss. I just deleted it and started over. Annoying though,

Try removing any .bmp files in your save folder... this should fix it IIRC.
I had this problem too. It is caused by a corruption of a BMP file.

I got the problem yesterday, and I tried to delete them but then it just messes up my file again. It didnt show my portraits in the file just paintbrushes, and I went to load and none of the games were there, it just crashed and said assertion faild InfScreenLoad.cpp.
