For quite a long time, I have been impressed at the improved speed and efficiency with which I seem able to download mods from File Planet, via The Summit.

For the last number of hours, though, when I click on the download link, it takes a long time, and then eventually I end up at the login page (before I was just automatically taken to the download). When I try to log in, my connection times out. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm trying to figure out if it is a security setting issue or if the site is just down.

I have the same problem here, I think the site is down, or they have some server issues.

The problem is fixed. It looks like they've updated the site. It now has a black background with ads that stand out, and an additional "skip the wait" link directly beneath the free download button.
