well in Fable can you become mayor? i heard that if you own everything in a town you can...oh and how in the world do you get into the cellar door in Bowerstone South, behind the Inn? any help would set my mind to ease.

In TLC you can (and the X-Box expansion CD, when its released), but not in the X-Box version. It relates to an option with the Lady Grey quest. The walkthrough probably details it and there are a couple threads about it.

mayorship, and bowerstone south celler

i dunno how to become mayor, but i have noticed that when ur married to lady grey, when you walk around bowerstone, ppl address you as "LORD" and so on

and i know for certain that after you defeat jack, and i have the pick lock expression that the celler door opens for me, but i dunno if its coz of the time or not???

In order to open the cellar door in bowerstone south you have to wait until roughly 2 am. Go to lookout point and click on the statue, it should say "the statue is pointing at bowerstone south". Go back to the the celler door and it will open.

there is no real point to the tavern cellar. all it really contains is(i think) a leather chest peice.

If you become mayor, and send Lady Grey packing, can you still get Ronok the Axe?

you cannot get the ranok axe, nor do you get the 15k dowry if you turn in lady grey and become mayor. You do however get access to the katana and key in LG's house. Neither resolution to the lady grey issue gives any alignment modifier despite marrying lady grey obviusly being the more evil route.

1. The reason they call you lord is because you are all powerful. My evil mage walks around albion and passing trades say"M-m-my lord, i-its you." I love it when they call me Lord because then i feel power and then i kill them with lihgting.

you also lose the silver key you find in the puddle after thunder knocks you off the cliff and the mana augmentation in the cave... the way i see to get all of the stuff is to fight thunder and defeat him and them complete the investigate the mayor quest. now you have the silver key, the mana augmentation, the katana and youre the mayor too. too bad you cant get the ronok but it doesnt matter cause it sucks anyway.

actually if you chose to be come mayor i believe you can get the mana augmentation and the silver key in the headsman's hill area. all you do and put your back to the spot where thunder pushes you off in the battle with him and keep digging. eventually you should teleport down there. however because you can't defeat thunder you'll have to teleport out because the demon door won't open

You are wrong.
You can pick the lock on the cellar door.

No, im pretty sure you cant pick that door
Firstly, a pickable door has to be highlighted in blue
Not green, and when you press A (or PC equivilant)
It should make the noise without the message
Hence the message stops you from picking the lock
I assume, and whats more what good is a secret unlock door
If you find other ways without the statue
