Local map doesn't work

I have the Xbox version, just started playing a few days ago. My 'World' map works fine, but my 'Local' map shows nothing. Is this a glitch? A curse, disease, misfired herb... Anyone have any experience with this?

hmm... i recall a glitch somthing like that does it just come up with black?Hmm Try reseting your xbox console yes i know what im talking about im an xboxer but try to reset or just start a new account

Even starting a new game didn't work, its still all black. Anyone have any advice on how to fix this? The game isn't so easy without the Local Map.

Have you already explored that area? Because it wont show up unless youve been there

yea, you have to explore the area before anything comes in.

ZBUt yeah they wont show up till you walk around a bit so we all agree
