I cannot get into locked door to complete Rob's quest even though I am at level 5 in lockpick. What have I done wrong? Thanks

For Rob's second quest you'll have to pick up the ale in the storage room. In Rob's room you'll find a book with a strange dagger inside, one of the holy weapons. I don't remember having any problems to open the room.
