How can you become a Mayor??

I need help on how to be a mayor. I've married Lady Grey and I think I heard from somewhere about the Father of Lady Grey.
Also is there any Mayors you can just walk up to and talk to em.(I've never seen a Mayor in Fable and i've beaten the game a whole lot of times.

You can become the mayor of Bowerstone in TLC if you expose Lady Grey.

If you marry lady grey you can't become mayor. Check the walkthrough and do a search on this topic; there a quite of few questions already answered onthe forums.

Just skip the lady grey quest and take on the gery house quest. (not sure of the name) It's the quest where you have to reveal who killed lady grey's sister. When you solve it and you go back to bowerstone you'll get to choose if you become the mayor or not.
