so I used the "all spells" cheat and now I cant level up my spellcasters because they cant "learn" new spells, they already know them all! The FINISH icon won't light up because I am stuck in select SPELLS. Anyone know a way around this (besides starting over!)?

Using that cheat prevents further levelling, and there's no real direct way around it, so far as I know. However, you could remove the party member and replace him with the book at the inn, then use the console to level him back up to where he was.

1. Take all his gear from him to give back later.
2. Have him scribe scrolls of important spells for memorization later. Give these to other party members too.
3. Write down his experience total, #####.
4. Remove him from the party.
5. Return him to the party (at level 1).
6. Open the console with shift-~.
7. Type "game.party[X].stat_base_set(stat_experience,#####)". (Don't type the quotes; make X = 0 if he's in the first party slot, 1 if he's in the second, etc.).
8. Level him back up.
9. Give him back his gear and let him copy the scrolls.

I've tried to use characters that I created from that book and they won't join for some reason. They respond but that's all there's no dialogue for them to join.

Do you have 5 or more PCs in your party? They will only join you if you have 4 or fewer, as your party was never supposed to have more than 5 PCs. There should be no dialog. You just use the book like the original party formation screen and add or remove PCs. Once you've got the new party setup, they should all be in your party.

yea, uh....I like tried that and stuff. In this PARTICULAR situation that DID NOT work. I never admitted to not having common sense, besides we all know what happens when you "***-u-me". ;)

I could have sword I posted here before, anyway, when you on spell select screen and you see all spells in gray cause you can't select them, right click where its sais "spell lvl 1" and it will go into your spell selection slot instead, also to "spells lvl 2" in the second one and you can lvl up without putting new spells, also this can be done with any of the things that tell you the spell lvls.
