Hey all,
I am wondering if anyone here has downloaded the darkest day add-in for SoA and if they would be able to email it to me. Also let me know what you think of it.

Why have somebody else email it to you, when you can simply download it yourself from www.teambg.com?

I've heard of one player who was barely eighteen when he started that download, and died of arteriosclerosis at the age of ninety before he finished. Truly, a long download.

Well, i'm lucky enough, it seems, i access web through LAN (with fixed cost for a month), so it took about 2h to get it
The question is another, though. Is TDD compatible with Sabre's multistronghold and multiromance patches, does anybody know? I can live without the 2nd, but i definitely want the 1st.
And one more question: is TDD shift to fighting side (diabolosation, so say) or it is balanced with quests and interactions at least in degree as the original has.

Can i ask you guy's who have played TTD.
Is ot worth it?
Does it add any really good stuff to the gameplay?
Or is it just a bunch or extra spells and kits?

@Onyx, YES, it is very worth it. The game offers plenty of LONG DIFFICULT quests, that are hard fights, and require thought, though mostly on how best to kill the creatures. Great Mod, note, CHECK EVERY BOX!!!

Hey, i dont want to brag, but with a cable modem it is a lot faster, but I have this thing called DAP (Download Accelerater Plus), which splits the download between many differet mirrors and make it go 100 to 300% faster! I downloaded in about twenty min.

That programs also dumps a ton of spyware on your machine that is next to impossible to remove.
Use Getright.

What Quitch said. DAP is one of the worst spyware programs among download accelerators. I'd suggest GetRight, which is spyware-free, and also offers a better interface and more options.
Excuse the spam. I'll clean the place, later.

One more question about TDD - is ShadowKeeper compatible with it?
TIA,

Loredweller- shadow keep is compatable, but it screws some things up. Just be careful that editing games doesn't screw up the stats of the new kits. I know that SK messes up the rhythym warriors AC bonus and HP.

@Virgil57
I put the question on SK board and Aaron asked for more details. Would you give some, please?
TIA,
L.

Oh shoot, what does this spy stuff do?
I got cable modem so the download took 1 hour 40 minutes.
I just started the game and finished irenicus's dungeon. Some new monsters(ogres, bugbears). And the existing monsters are tougher. I recommend playing novice. The goblins can actually hit you.!!

All spyware runs in the background, and quietly sends back information to the spyware manufacturer about the specific websites you visit, in what order and how long. They buy access to developers' programs, and in turn sell the demographic information they've collected in this fashion to a variety of merchandisers that want to analyze your behavior patterns.
Spyware also has the capability to look at your specific computer configuration--and anything else you've stored, there. It can potentially pass along how often you access a specific application in a given time, or the addresses stored in a database, or your passwords. While the last two are unlikely to occur, the first does happen. Read the privacy statements of shareware products before you install software--particularly demo versions.
There's an excellent little utility you can install which will sniff out spyware on your computer, and offer to deinstall it: AdAware. Check it out at www.lavasoftusa.com.

Hey Onyx, sry I was out of the loop for a bit. Well, tips, magic is super important in the game as it can greatly aid you, dont try and bash your way through things. And for some reason, the New NPCs have tendancy to make the system crash, but the patch fixes this 90% of the time. Enjoy. Oh ya, GET THE PATCH
