So I have been digging for about 4-5 hours in the last 3 days trying whenever I get a chance to play. I do not get a lot of time to play but would like to get the Katana from Lady Grey's house early on. So if anyone can tell me if it is possible to dig your way in Fable:TLC for PC to Bowerstone North and if so, can someone post a screenshot of where I am supposed to be standing when I start.

I have tried digging in the corner between the rock and the cellar doors, I have tried between rock and the little hill heading towards the wall. I would really appreciate if anyone could help me as I have spent all of my available game time trying to do this :/

Um ... what gave you the idea that you could dig your way into another sector?

Because it's possible in the Xbox version of the game?

As for the original post, I don't think it's possible, but I haven't tried extensivley. Just like Hero Saves... I haven't been able to do it in TLC.

I've been able to do Hero Saves, but it seems that if you do too many of them your game gets corrupted.
Atleast thats what I've noticed.

dude, stop bein a roster teeth, somepeople dont know as much as others, thats why, we with the knowlegde must share freely.

there is no way that i have found that lets you dig, so your going to have to wait on the sword man, sorry. would have been cool to dig, but would more then likely caused more problems.

let me get this straight your talking about digging a tunnel to bowerstone north or glitching your way in?

Hero Saves can be done while you in a quest that how i have found to do them.

In the xbox there was a glitch that you could use to get through parts of the game that where locked. (Mostly i just got stuck)
In tlc on pc however it doesn't work. It doesn't seem to me that he takes a tiny step backwards towards the direction where ur aiming you're back.

About the corruption thing. Many people do a quest where you can stock up with precious items like silver keys or elixers. I've investigated this and it's true.When you save load alot the savegame gets corrupted.This happened after i got the silver key from the "save my grandson so i can make him work for me in the hobbe cave" quest. I loaded and replayed this quest 12 times without getting corrupted.

I also tried replacing the savegame with one i've saved but it doesn't work.

You'll notice when the game is corrupted when :

- switching from area to area takes longer
- after schutting down and reloading it takes ages to load (or won't aven load at all)
- Strange timestamps on your savegames

Solution

Restart a new quest and don't exploit the trick to much

Corrupted files will crash game for PC. It happens if you save load a lot within a time frame though, as my original save game works fine and I have saved well over 30 times on it just rarely whilst my "silver key" save slot will not load. Good thing I saved one at 19 keys and just got another key somewhere else.
