Minor but annoying problem *possible spoilers*

I'm playing the PC version of TLC. I've played through once as a "goody" and I'm now embracing the dark side and being evil.
Strangly though I've found that all the NPCs keep commenting on things that haven't happened yet! As I walk past they'll congratulate on things that happen at the end of the game, even though I've created a new profile (and as a result had to reset all the blooming mapped keys grrr!)
It's not a major problem but it is getting a tad irritating now as they say the same thing over and over. I just wondered if anyone else had run into this or had any suggestions.

Well i would suggest the following.
Copy your "fable - my games" folder to a safe location.
Uninstall the game and delete the save games.
Do a full reinstall and copy your saved games back.
Hope this does the trick

yea i have the same prob. Tho i got few laughs. For exsample: This npc first said "You kiled your own sister!" then she goes "horray!"
I wonder how it will be at third time...

Fair enough if lots of people are getting it. I'll probably just put up with it tbh, not really worth a reinstall. Especially as I had trouble installing it originally anyway. Still no real problems since.

Well i would rather like it more that those dumb NPC speak the truth.
I'm playing the evil dude now and i would hate it if someone come accros yelling : "you did a good job in the arena , and you showed such a mercy on whisper" GRRRRRR

All the dialogue is even later than that. Most people keep congratulating me on defeating Jack (who I haven't even met yet!) The only one that is really out of character for my evil dude is the Brummie guy who says "You sent the sword back to the underworld!" Which I have no intention of doing this time round!
