First Time Player, Walkthrough Question

I've heard nothing but good things about Morrowind for years now but never decided to play it until now.

Great game.

My question is about a walkthrough. I know there are oodles of quest walkthroughs out there, but I'm looking for one in particular.

The ones out there are categorized by series, i.e. main quest, fighters guild, thieves guild, etc.

I'm looking for a level breakdown walkthrough.

i.e. Lvl 1-2 - Seyda Neen quests, 1st quests for fighter's guild, mage guild, thieves guild, any misc quests.

Lvl 3-4 - Second quests for fighter's guild, mage guild, thieve guild, any misc quests.

Lvl 5-7 - etc.

Something tells the order to do quests in.

I know I should experience the game and learn on my own, and I will, but I'd like a guide to push me in the right direction.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I dont know if this well help but you could try Gamefaqs.com
and look up faqs and hints and then look at each guild to get a list of quests and then doing them all one at a time...they're listed in begining to end..some are easy some are hard there's no...it starts of easy then hard and harder the level of difficulty is random and depnds on your level and weapons...

Welcome to Game Banshee :)

I don't know of any walkthroughs that do as you ask (though there may well be some), but, there really is no order in which you are supposed to do quests in. Morrowind is the least linear game I have ever played.

If you are looking for suggestions though, I'd recommend starting off with whatever guild is most suited to your character's skills/abilities. So, if you are stealth oriented, for example, begin with the Balmora Thieves guild, and follow their vague suggestions on the order in which to visit their particular quest givers. By the time you finish your first guild, you should have enough money and experience to attempt another.... and so on.

Regarding the main quest: Some people do it right at the beginning, others save it for a while. Personally, I'd advise doing it earlier rather than later, simply because if you do it first, it is actually quite challenging. Taking on the battle at the end of the main quest when you are somewhat high level can be very anticlimactic (even with the difficulty set at 100).

However, it really is your choice. There is no real predetermined order for anything is this game.

Wow. Very quick responses. Thank you.

I didn't know the quests were based on your level and equipment. That helps a lot.

I was only asking about a level walkthrough because I'm on my 3rd fighters guild quest and it says I have to be at least lvl 3 to begin it. I didn't know if they were all like this or not.

I guess I'll just run around and explore, get the quests, and if I can't do them, run around some more until I can. Not that bad.

Thanks again.

Check out your status then scroll down on the right side then pick the guild you are stuck on it will show you your rank and skills that need to be raised to that level....like need one at 50 and two at 20 meanng you need some of the skills listed to be around that for advancement...
