Jaheira has Disappeared >.< (some spoilers)

Okay, this may have already been covered at some point but I couldn't find it, so here it goes.

I've had Jaheira in my party the entire game, and I'm now in Chapter 6. We just went to Trademeet and are doing the druid grove quest. She challenged for the druid grove and lost. I rezzed her, and she popped up inside the pit instead of next to my PC. I fought again, and this time she won. Cernd took over the druid grove and life was happy, except Jaheira was still stuck in the pit. I tried to kill her so I could rezz her elsewhere, but none of my guys could target her. I decided to kick her out of the party and see if that did anything. It did--she disappeared. I've been all over the Copper Coronet and the Harper Guildhall (including looking around for her outside) and she's just not turning up. Is there somewhere I've neglected to look?

Does the map change in any specific way after you have won the Druid Grove (forgive me but it has been some time since I played it)

The reason I ask is that the Temple of Aramauntor uses a different map once it has been freed from the Shade Lord. Any NPC in that area, but not currently in the party is lost.

I wonder if the same thing has happened?

Use the cheat key Ctrl-J to move your main character in and out of the pit and see if Jaheira is still there.

The map seems to be the same--I'm about to go see if she's still in the hole. Wish me luck!

{edit--No va. She's not in the hole. Any other possible suggestions?}

I'm sorry I don't have a technical solution to this problem, but at least you aren't alone as this happened to me as well. My solution was to just redo the whole fight and everything (from a previous savepoint) and do it over again.

Just a hint. Unless you skipped all of Jaherias quests, she should have renounced her harper status, and she should have the harper pin from Terminsel(Unscrambled its Elminster). Therefore why would she go to the Harper Hold? Did you note where she would go?

If you dumped her earlier she says"This group is yours to reform as you see fit, though dropping me for another does not seem like the wisest choice. I will abide by your descision though.
I cannot stay here, however. There is a Harper Headquarters within the city,that is where you can find me."

or something like that.

you should have read the conversation if shes not there.

Count yer blessings that the incessent nagging of the Harper harpy shall bother ye no longer? (Sorry I'm not a huge Jaheira fan)

Do what Tony says reload and refight. If it happens again it might be worth considering recruiting Cernd specifically for the fight, if it happens to him it won't matter as much. (Unless you actually want to recruit him at some point.)

She doesn't have a harper pin, and she couldn't talk to me because you can't initiate dialogue with someone you aren't standing next to. Since she was in the pit, I couldn't talk to her. Someone mentioned the same thing happening to him, so I guess it's just a glitch. I don't have an earlier save, so farewell to thee, Jaheira.

Use a clua console cheat to automatically summon her into your party. I dont use those so I dont know the code but maybe someone else will.

I did dump her, but she can't talk to my PC unless she's standing next to her. None of the NPCs can. She's in a hole and my PC is not. She couldn't get next to my PC, so she couldn't talk to her. Clearer now? I can be a little vague sometimes, sorry.

Sorry I forgot about that part.

Before you do ANYTHING like that make sure that you have a Quick-Save, you should know that.

IIRC, if you kick Jaheira out she will not rejoin your party, so the options are farewell or CLUA.
