hi guyz

how do i get to bowerstone north?

whenever i get to the gate in bowerstone south, a guard approaches me and tells me that i need a permit. where do i get the permit? or do i get later on during the game. i am currently in witchwood, so guess i am about halfway through. in the walkthrough there is info about a good store which i want to check out, and i also would like to do the mayor quest before i advance any further in the main plot.

Sorry, but you cannot get into Bowerstone North until you have impressed Lady Grey. You do that by winning in the Arena, which is part of the main plot. Good luck.
