I made a custom glass pauldron with the guy in Craftsmen's Hall, but for some reason it has the same armor rating as my other regular glass pauldron. Is this becase my light armor skill not at 100 but at 91? Some other reason? Help appreciated.

I believe that it has the same stats either way. I think the custom armorer just lets you buy it instead of finding it, not custom fits it to you
