Possible error in walkthrough

In the class descriptions, you have the Hatamato getting the new skill "Inflict Wounds". I'm fairly sure that it is the Samurai who gets "Inflict Wounds", while the Hatamoto gets "Critical Strike".

*shrug* It's not like it's a complete work dude, I mean, look at the fact that the walkthrough doesn't post specifics of where some quest-related items/mobs are. If the quest to gain a class can't tell you anything more than "find and kill x mob somewhere between x and y cities" what do you expect? I found out info better than that by experimenting on my own

That's the point

GAMEBANSHEE openly and clearly solicits for information to improve the site. I believe that's what Kamelion was trying to do. Grumbling about problems rather than offering solutions is counter productive and is an indication of backward reasoning, Goth. If you have noticed errors just post them. Why bash a site for trying to help?

We're trying to make the walkthrough as complete as possible. Which item or NPC don't you think we're showing?

Huh ?

This is the official site? I thought the Dreamcatcher site was the official site.

Our Dungeon Lords subsite is the "official strategy guide," or something like that.

It's not that you're not showing that there is a mob to kill, but for instance - I've done the samurai quest twice and all the info says that you have to kill a ronin (think his name's something like Hidego Asuga, don't recall atm), and that he's somewhere in the woods between fargrove and arindale. There's ALOT of ground between arindale and fargrove. Both times I've done the quest though I found him in the same spot, so unless I'm just lucky I don't think he wanders. If you're at lake lohr, follow the road south , then east at the intersection. When the road turns north, keep going straight. You'll hit a large mountain range running north-south that may look like a border if you don't follow close to it. There's a strip of land shaped like } behind it, he's on the southern aspect of that land mass and will charge you with some Drey elf mercenaries. Since he will come running at you, you may not notice that where he came from there's a campfire and a treasure chest, making this fight considerably easier if you can push him back (or just run past him) to take advantage of the campfire as needed.
That's more of what I'd expect from a walkthrough, not just a repeat of the info that the char giving you the quest in game says, because I got the part about him being in the woods between fargrove and arindale without having to go to a walkthrough site. Sorry, I was just annoyed that after I'd been wasting time checking every inch of the wilderness, and when I decided I needed some help and went to the walkthrough site, that I didn't get any help from it. That better?

Goth_Furox: It sounds as if you looked at the class information pages, but didn't access the walkthrough at all. If you had looked here, you would have found what you were looking for.

Umm, I looked at both, thanks  Did you check my info before your replied? ;) Heck I even tried looking under heraldires for gaining samurai to get the info, then tried to find other sites with walkthroughs.....Which, just in case anybody was curious, this is the best one I've found, just like I said I was having a bad day, sorry for being pissy....So yeah, that link you posted does nothing for the samurai quest other than what you get from the quest giver talking to you if you bother to read it. Thanks anyway though. Actually, most of the class information I see on the page you posted has less to do with how to find a mob than how to defeat him. IMHO, that's more of the problem dealing with a mob than actually developing strategies. I mean if I can't kill a creature on my own, I'm not going to go looking for him....Incidentally, I also found it easier to use my shield to block his spells and then cast my own than to deal with his dual-wielding in close combat as your walkthrough suggested; I guess it depends on your playing style, which the mobs location doesn't. Hence my thinking that more specific information of where to find a mob being more important than knowing what to do WHEN I found it....after all, if I got to a point where I could get the class and find the mob, I should have learned on my own how to defeat mobs, I just might need better pointers on where the mob lives. That all make sense?

Well, I'm confused then. The link I posted includes a map showing where to find the samurai guy, as well as all the people involved in the Eastern Houses quests.

Well - under the quest to get the dragon's egg, it had specific directions for where to go. I guess I expected that for all of them or none. And there's not anything I noticed to tell me that the numbers on the map related to the quests in the order they were posted. Not to mention, like I said, that was just an example. There's other things missing in the walkthrough. Like in the intial visit to fargrove, silas and the troll section. It says to run to the guards and get some between you and the troll as the easiest way to kill it. Actually, it's alot easier to run around behind the tent on it's left side as you face old hetta. Once you're behind the tent you can climb on top where the wall almost connects to the tent. It'll take a combination of jumps, and sometimes it helps to jump to the wall rather than the tent, but you should be able to make it fairly easily. None of the mobs that are around town can figure out how to get up on the tent to attack you, so even if wandering mobs spawn, you can kill them all with ease from this spot (sometimes blocking if there's mobs that have ranged attacks). If you use area attacks, the old biddy will tell you attacking a fortune-teller always brings bad luck, but to date I haven't noticed any actual effects from that. If you stay here long enough, a guard or guards will eventually come by to see what the ruckus is all about and give you a hand disposing of whatever's in the area (including the troll). I mean, how complete can you claim a walkthrough to be if they tell you specifically "there's a room here, but we don't know how to get in". Or if they give you the wrong information on which monsters you will be fighting for your class quests (like the wizard's one).
