Need help with Ravager [ToB] *SPOILER*

I need help defeating The Ravager (5th challenge in the Pocket Plane; Large version of Slayer). I have tried using tanks to attack him, but am surrounded by up to 10 bone blades at a time (like Mordenkainen's Sword). I've also tried Time Stop/Improved Alacrity with the Robes of Vecna and Amulet of Power and unloaded SIX Lower Resistances on him (ie. reduced his magic resistance by
180%!!!!!!!!!!
) and then tried using Horrid Wilting to no avail...
Any suggestions?

He is not that much of a problem, but those damn swords were a lot more of a problem. Horrid writing cleared them for me.

Well this is what i posted about the red mage;
Wasn't his name Tethoril?
I once went through Candlekeep with a Buffed up protagonist and killed everyone i could find, where is that memories thread that was one of the most amusing escapades ever

Now how bout helping me with The Ravager?

HeHe, good point....
Well i did it something like this.
Sent Sarevok after the Bone blades ntil i could get my sorcerer to the top of the room (where nothing spawns from) had him cast Horrid writing which wiped out the blades, then sent my 3 other tanks after the ravager (the other 2 were busy whacking on him while all the sorc action was happening) then after casting improved alacrity i used Bigbys clenched fist (i think, whatever the LVL9 spell is) on him which stunned him and then he was free for my tanks. I kept using Horrid writing to remove the bone blades. And then he was dead.
There are probably better tactics than this but i hope it helps

who is in your party?
--- to beat the ravager:
a) dispel the blade barrier, keldorn's dispel will work.
b) whirlwind. use weapons that have some kind of on hit effects, soul reaver is really effective.
c) keep a few spare dispels handy to take care of slow effects.
d) mord's swords to keep boneblades busy.

It was a custom party, only featuring Sarevok as an npc. The other tanks are reffer to are Undead Hunter, Barbarian and Beserker.

My party consists of:
1. Krynus (PC) - Lvl 25 Neutral Good Conjurer
2. Minsc - Lvl 27
3. Jaheira - Lvl 19 Fighter/Lvl 14 Druid
4. Jan - Lvl 17 Mage/Lvl 23 Theif
5. Nalia - Lvl 25
6. Korgan - Lvl 31
The important equipment each character uses is:
Krynus - Staff of the Magi/Everard's Sling +5, Robe of Vecna, Amulet of Power
Minsc - Ravager +6/Gesen's Bow
Jaheira - Yamato +4/Errine Sling +5 (+4 Bullets)
Jan - Firetooth +5/Blackrazor
Nalia - The Answerer +4/Tansheran's Bow +3
Korgan - Big Metal Unit, Dual-Wielded Axe of the Undying +5/Flail of Ages +5
All have Boots of Speed except Korgan, but he has Amulet of Cheetah Speed...
Is that enough information for you?

Jan weilding Blackrazor...I know this is perfectly cool and everything, but it's just a funny picture to me
Blackrazor is probably saying "Dang, I'm the most wicked sword ever forged, and I'm getting used by a gnome"
This is TOB for you - the weapons are so over the top that Jan ends up with the raddest unthinkable god weapon from SOA and Nalia is using The Answerer, and every weapon the party has is "named", and Crom Faer is NOT EVEN BEING USED.
Note Armageddon I am in no way making fun of your party...I think it sounds totally rad and its a creative use of the equipment. I bet they totally kick much @$$ all over the place.

No offense taken
I actually have Crom Faeyr in one of Korgan's weapon slots, but I don't really think it's as great as its reputation makes it out to be. I don't really need the strength bonus, because I have like all the Ogre Strength girdles, and at the point of the game I am at, Stone/Clay Golems, Ettins and Trolls are a thing of the past.

So.... now that my thread has gone
completely off topic I'll try to redirect it to its original purpose (which, surprisingly, is not to discuss my party and their weapons, though that would make a good discussion, but to discuss strategy for defeating The Ravager)
Can someone suggest a possible strategy keeping my party (refer to above) in mind?

i personaly dont see how anyone can have trouble with him for some reason he never gets to summoning all that stuff in ANY of my games i play on core rules and he NEVER has used anything good he just attacks me hand to hand i always rush in full speed with all tanks with greater ww and take him down in about a minute

Try casting mage spell 2nd level strength on him.
This will make his attacks far less damaging, since it will set his strength from a god like 25, crom feyr level, to savarok. then use soul reaver so it can't attack you, then move in with a whirlwind and vorpal weapon. Just tried using whirlwind and silver sword on some fire giants in watchers keep, and found out even if it makes the eath saves, it might get stunned for a few seconds. also, use aerie if you got her to cast about 10 dooms 2nd level priest spell)/ doom, unlike greater malison, will stack and further reduce its ability to make saving throws. the ravager, instead of having high magic resisit, might have really good saving throws. Savarok, right now, has sucky resistance, but killer saving throws.

i killed this ravager with my monk solo, it was a pretty hard battle but i did it
i had 6 hadriness and a lot of whirlwinds
first i used 3 hardiness to jhave 120% resistance to physical attacks, so any attack made by him would heal me, just this and ever using wirhlwinds, smite, critical strike until my hardiness expired, then i used the other 3 hardiness and continued attacking until he died

Haven't seen THAT one before...
BTW, I fought him without much problems, but I've never seen these "Bone blades"?!

He always summons 3 boneblades wich are like weaker mordekaines. If you kill one it immediatly gets replaced until ravager is dead.

1. Dispel the blade barrier (pierce magic or dispel magic spells).
2. Keep the bone swords busy with Mordenkainen's Swords (they cannot be killed)
3. Attack the Ravager with your magically enhanced fighters, and keep your weaker memebers backside.
This way I killed with only a few injuries.
