The Game crashes for me in Necropolis. Anybody else experienced that?
It says that it is a malfunction in the grafic-card (Geforce4 ti 4200), but I think its a gamecrash because it crashes at the same spot everytime. Can anybody help me?

I have the exact same problem.

I'm using Ti 4200 too, and it crashes at the same loading screen everytime.

I can't proceed into the game any further!

Any solutions?

try a driver update and if you can tone the graphics down for that part maybe it will help,

I'm using Omega drivers, but they have proven to be very reliable as I've no problems whatsoever in any other games.

I first thought that it was because my card is overclocked, but at the same time it is clocked at very reliable speeds. Anyhow, I returned them back to default clock speeds but didn't work either.

I toned down the game's setting, still didn't work.

Oh my..

what is the error its giving you or is it just crashing to desktop?

It hangs during the loading screen, then after a while Windows recovers the system from the crash.

It notifies that the system has recovered from a device failure, and ask for a reboot. During that time, the graphics are all messed up. Resolutions are switched to 640*480, 256 color and all the inferior settings.

This is what I got from my event log
The driver nv4_disp for the display device \Device\Video0 got stuck in an infinite loop. This usually indicates a problem with the device itself or with the device driver programming the hardware incorrectly. Please check with your hardware device vendor for any driver updates.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
Any ideas?

Nope, AA is not on.
I'm on 85hz.

Vsync is always off in whatever games I play.

This forum is the closest I've gotten to finding out if anyone else has the same problem. It seems to be a rather rare error, but a serious one... I can't go any further into the game..

I'm using Soundstorm, and I run it on a nocd patch.

And I dont have Windows Blinds anyway.

I read through the article, but most of the problems there seem random. But mine is specifically that area alone...
