Demon Key, Nether shoulders, Voraatus

I used the method in the post I just bumped to the top to HEX edit the demon key into my inventory. No problems. I got over 1.400,000 points for the demon AND the two chests in his room contain high-powered stuff. Curiously enough, the next time I looked (after several saves and reloads) the key was gone and (I think) the original key was back.

I found the Nether shoulders and my female character is wearing them. Somebody asked about that.
I selected the choices as they appeared in the quiz of Voraatus, and after about 20 reloads, still not correct. This casts doubt on my earlier remark. I then fought him, and it was truly a bizarre battle.
First, I went just outside the door, and discovered that if you hit the stage below the right hand witness with magic balls or a couple of other spells without hitting Voraatus, it damages Voraatus, but he stays where he is and his horde does not spawn.
Eventually I hit him, so I retreated to the hallway about two steps up the stairs. He came to face the door but would not enter the hallway. I had the shield of retribution, and when his horde spawned, it was about as heavy a torrent of magic as I've seen. I must have stood there five minutes just holding up the shield -- his whole gang spawned three times altogether. Anything that entered the hall was promptly fried by spells coming from behind.
Eventually, he killed himself and all his minions except a couple. A major victory just by standing there.
You still get the prize if you kill him instead of answering his question.
I increased the hawkeye skill to 12 and went back to the Skuldoon gate to kill some creatures. I could not see much improvement. I do not believe I shortened the life of a single major opponent with that skill.
And that, folks, pretty well exhausts my interest in the game.
