Hi, I've been playing fable for a few days and when ever i try and increase my strength at the guild house the game screws up. Everytime without fail, the voice starts stuttering and then i get thrown back onto my desktop. it doesnt do this with any other attribute i try to raise, just strength. I still have the same life bar as i had when i graduated from the guild. i have also tried starting new games (3 times) uninstalling and reinstalling (countless amounts). I was wondering if anyone out there knew how to fix this or encountered the same or similar problem and if there was a way to put it right without buying a brand new game.

ehm.. far from sure that this is possible, but is it possible to change the sound option? not just change volum etc, but the whole settings.

since the sound card maybe was the problem, that may help

well i turned off sound card acceleration - essentially useless anyway, and it seems to have made a difference, instead of the game crashing completely, it just exits back to the desktop, does anyone know how to fix this? (because there must have been more than one problem obviously)

Buy an Xbox

Yeah I have a very very simple solution to your problem, just buy an xbox!
I never have problems with the game, and the lost chapters is only twenty dollars.
