When you find the chest in the last drow camp in the first chapter which contains 'your' items, are they actually the items that were stolen off you?

If you didn't start with an imported character, they are items that your class can use (i.e a wizard get a staff +3). If your character got custom items, some of them will appear in your chest. I'm not sure if all of them are there.

I would guess mosts items are there (the chest has several pages usually). Some things specific to some user created module might not though.

I'm not sure if you get all of your items back or not, but I seem to remember that I didn't care much for them either way because the items I found during HotU Chapter I were much better than anything I get from either OC or SotU.

You should get almost all your items back (perhaps not custom ones, I never messed around with that). I recall that the only items I noticed missing was some quest items from previous games and most of my bags (don't know why bags weren't carried over).

I don't know if this is other peoples experience as well, but it was in all my playthroughs.

So custom items include those that have been modified by Rizolvir?

Custom as in not native to the original NwN games, meaning from other (player based) modules and similar.

i found the same thing everytime i played. i would only find one or two of my bags instead of the loads of bags i had

I even got back some quest items from NWN. I had Linu's flower token and the Stone of Recall (which didn't work, of course). I think I also had the final wardstone from the Old Ones' lair (can't remeber what it was called).

yeah i get the stone of recall back and some quest items too lol
