wind room with shadow stone floating

hi everyone. has anybody got any hints or easy way to jump up and grab the floating shadow stone??? i keep getting whacked by the 2 wizards. man i hate to get frozen. i have tried what the walkthrough suggested but i can,t seem to get near enough to the middle of the circle before i jump. man this is frustrating. thanks oldcodger

Backflip
You have to backflip. You should be able to do it no problem. Backflip and then start tapping the SHIFT key like crazy. You'll never see it, but you'll probably snag it.

Hey codger
Did you catch that stone yet? The whirlwind spins in a clockwise direction. It seems if you jump into the wind it works better then strait in or with the wind. So in other words before jumping forward or back flipping turn a little to your right. It seems to help carry you through the center of the vortex. I have successfully done a forward jump to catch the stone by starting outside the room on the left side of the doorway and running in toward the far right corner of the room. Back flipping is easier because you send a lot more time at the apex of the vortex. As Gobatcha said make your jump, get your finger on the shift' key and click, click, click. D

wind room with shadow crystal floating
hi gobatcha and ferncliff. thhanks for the replies guys. i finally got the floating crystal. i killed the wraiths and opened up all the chests after killing a few of the bad guys. i have fought naussy once and died. he is a pretty tough cookie. what spells work the best on him. i have been using my potion of power and i have equipped and elven darksword which seems to work pretty good. if i also use blade of baal with it will this help?? thanks again guys for the replies. codger

I posted about my experience with Nauselom. I had the Shield of Retribution, I was dual wielding the Sapphire Sword and the Golden Wakazashi. I summoned fiends two at a time to handle the light stuff. I bashed the boss with the Rod of Divinity a couple times and then took him out with my usual weapons. I describe it all better in my earlier entry. Good luck.
