Is it worth wearing a full Will User armor kit (Bright or Dark) if your a spellcaster spec?

I don't see the point since they not seem to give any bonus versus a full Plate set.

So a Plate Caster or a Cloth Caster?

(I know for RolePlay a caster would wear Will User set)

If you read the description of the Will User's armor, it says it protects against magic better. I'm not sure the better defense of Plate Armor can have a better overall defense. I'd just use the Will Armor (light or dark depending if you are good or evil) because you can get the plate armor before you get standard will user's clothing.

I stick with the will armor until I can get bright or dark plate armor. The difference between the plate and will sets is not that great. However, the difference between the bright/dark plate and will sets is very clear. The dark will users set is available in Twinblade's Camp, which is pretty early in the game.

As for the extra magic protection from the will user's sets, I would like to have someone quantify the extra amount of protection given. It doesn't seem to matter much anyway. After all, almost none of the enemies you face have any kind of offensive magical attacks. Eliminate Hobbe mages and these enemies are few and far between for most of the game.

The problem I have with the robes as being effective for role playing is that they are too Jedi Knightish for my tastes. I'm not saying there's anything for with Jedi's, but that kind of robe just seems a bit out of place in this midieval type of setting.
