***SPOILER*** Glass vs. Ebony

My character is at Level 34 in Tribunal.

I've whipped the little pipsqueak out side the Temple who had a full set of Ebony armor and an Ebony Longsword.

My question: Would it benefit my character at all at this point to trade in my Glass Armor for the Ebony and enchant it?

Or, what suggestions do you have that would be more or better beneficial?

I've just gotten my "flamingsword" reforged and need to get it enchanted now. While I'm at the smith's shop (where I've carried that Ebony Armor) I'm wondering if now's a good time for a change or not.

Thx!

Ebony holds more enchantment for sure. Altogether the best enchantable dress are exquisite (shirt, skirt, pants, robe...). It could be worn under the armor, though - save but shoes (you do have BoLS, don't you?)
Ebony has greater weigth altogether - if you do not enchant with strength, it'd leave less carrying capacitiy on you.
Then compare your skill in light and heavy armor. The protection actually depens on that, you know.

I say nuts to armor. I got my char rolling with just clothes. Enchanted with perma Sanctuary(or whatever its called) and with some sick life regen. If you got the gold for for an enchanted char. Once they can't hit, spell blast or even catch you then you need not worry about damage reduction from your armor. And even if they hit you, well get around 60 hp regen/second and you got nothing to worry about.

Level 34, I'm guessing that your character hasn't reached the maximum proficiency with the Light Armor type yet. Stick with it, then get some training in Heavy armor later (or use the ebony pauldrons in combination with the Glass cuirass/greaves for a little self-training). If you're going to start using an armor you're not proficient in, the Tribunal expansion is *not* the place to start.

I've pretty much decided to just 'stay the course' for now.

Tribunal is really getting interesting!! I just came back from retrieving the Pyroil Tar and got my TrueFlame blade restored.

Now I'm in the ClockWork City having just past through the pendulum swinging giant blades.
