Stuck in hidden base Telos. Help please? (spoiler)

Hi, I'm new here. Great forum.
Now, I've been stuck on telos hidden base and I just can't seem to free T3-T4 (the droid). The droid says that I need credentials. How can I free him (the droid)? If I need credentials, how do I get them?
Thanks so much,
ackbar.

SPOILERS (might be a good idea to add in the future)
What do you mean? Credentials? If you are talking about the one for the Telos Security force, the Ebon Hawk is gone.
If the second one, you must talk to Atris or one of her handmaidens.

I did read the 'must read' thread, but I didn't realise this was actually a spoiler... well I know now.
POSSIBLE SPOILERS
Anyway,
Yeah, I am at the place with the handmaidens, and I have talked to all of them and Atris, battled them and released other party members. I haven't been able to get the droid out of the forcefield though, as the droid always says I need 'credentials' to free the droid.
Could it be a glitch in the game, or have I done something wrong?

Have you gone through all the dialouge options available to you with the droid? Did you talk to the different handmaiden? Is there a console nearby to unlock it?
There was potential for spoilers, as I ended up mentioning handmaidens, and the disapearance of the Ebon Hawk.
I was not told that I needed credentials. I just asked him some questions and deactivated the force field. Strange, thats what I remembered, other then asking a handmaiden where my party members were.

Yeah, I've tried all of those things. I really am beside myself. Could this be a glitch in the game? Any other ideas?

I have searched the forums and consulted the walkthough, and there have been no mention of credentials or bugs. Sorry, it must be a bug, or I can not be assistance.

There is no trick to releasing T3-M4 othr then talking to him after you have talked to Atris (and the Handmaiden).
It is T3-M4 you are trying to get back to the Ebon Hawk?
So if you can't, then it sounds strange, although it dosn't sound like a bug (seeing as this behaviour isn't something the droid ever has) unless the files are somehow corrupted and have overwritten each other. But it sounds highly strange. Are you absolutly sure you have talked to Atris and gotten permission to take the Ebon Hawk again? - Now that could be a bug.
I adwise reload to before landing or possible restarting the game.
(by the way - I've added a spoiler tag to the thread title).

Still no luck. I reinstalled the game (and put in the saved game file). It is still not working, I'm thinking of given the game a rest.
Is it illegal to get someone else's saved game file who has gotten past that point?
Any other ideas?
Cheers,
Ackbar

have you tried just leaving, and seeing if he is in your party afterwards?

Yes, but it won't let me board the ship. It says I don't have all of my party members.
Could it be I need experience ('credentials') in droid fixing or something?

As said - you don't need anything to be able to take T3M4 with you. Other then permission from Atris to take the ship and get your crewmembers.
Thus I think you have a corrupted game somehow. Try reloading/restarting.

I did reinstall the entire game. I just don't know what is going on!

IIRC the dialogue option comes up with 'meet me at the ship' (much like Bao-Dur). Who's in your party at the moment?

Kreia, the guy with black hair and the custom designed character. The guy with the laser arm (Bao?) I think said he'd be in the ship waiting.

I've got the game, and have a file, but have little time to play it now. If someone knows, or has an idea, I think they should post, as it could take me some time to get to that part once I get home.

Well, I played up to that point, and the force cage is opened through dialouge. You have one of the famed Telos bugs. I recommend going back to an earlier save point, or reloading your game onto the computer.

I have tried reloading, working from another saved point and reinstalling. This seems really quite annoying. Should I email the game's creator for official help?

can you give a few more details?
is Atton and Kreia still standing at the front door (main enterance)?
is Bao-Dur still lying in his force cage?
