Fishing Pole

Hi New to game so far awesome. Im trying to locate vendor for fishing pole and spade. Found previous post that said Cullis gate entrance in bowerstone southwas merchants location but no Cullis gate entrance in bowerstone south.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

There's a cullis gate (teleporter) in Bowerstone South. It's right next to the entrance to the city. The merchant is between the cullis gate and the entrance.
You can also get a fishing pole for free at Fisher Creek.

There like 10 feet betwwen teleporter and entrance and i see no merchants theres like 4 tents there but no npcs am i doing something wrong plus cant see for beans in the dark

Merchants keep business hours. If you show too late, the merchant probably has already gone home to the wife. Just grab a bed at the bowerstone inn for the night(click on a bed upstairs) and talk to the merchant the next day. If you help out the fisherman in Fisher Creek he does give you a rod for free and if you return again and win the fishing contest he will upgrade you to a better rod.
