tried adding it by using console. typed: "additem bonebiter_bow_unique"

also added "1" and "1,1,1"

none of these commands added a bow to my inventory. i also added the mod but the ghost does not reappear.

any help would be appreciated.

player->additem bonebiter_bow_unique 1

You missed "player->" part, and keep in mind that there must be the count of items as well.
