Is there a way to change your PC's gender? I started the game using a female PC and am currently in chapter 2, but I would like to avoid having to make a really hard DC persuade to convince Aribeth to have her surrender.

With a third party character editor, yes you can. For example LETO will do the trick. (don't have link handy, sorry. Anyone?)
