THIS IS ASSUMING NO MODS!!!!

How are monks best used? Are they melee fighters, scouts, decoys, are they better with a dip into other classes (rogue, cleric, wizard)?

I want a monk in my party, but don't know how to best take advantage of the class.

What is the best racial choice for a monk?

as already stated in many other threads - best use of the monk class is a 3 level mix-in!

...if you want a major class monk - you will just get a good decoy and for this reason choose a DG!

...taking that many monk levels it's quite useless to add divine caster classes beside one for reading scrolls!

adding a few sorc or wiz (DG!) levels to get access to MI, blink and blur would be best choice to support the decoy build!
