When I load my save (just before Quest: Gateway to Hook Coast) I can't teleport and all the teleports are "dead" no blue sparkles or anything...

What is wrong how do I fix it?

Its the quest

you need to activate the darkwood cullisgate just go to the gate and everything will be clear to you
( just slay enough undead till the gate works ) heres a tip gain enough experience since u have to deacitvate a gate and fight maze

I have slayed and walked through THAT teleport and when I am on the island I go where there are are a red wall and I here ther voice, return to the guild, but when I return to the teleport its "broken"..

So are you at Hook Coast when it breaks, or in the Guild?
Spoilers:

If you are in the Guild, make sure you have gone to Maze's quaters and talked to your mum.

If you are in Hook Coast, then go up to where that red wall was previously in place.

I've had the same problem. I couldn't teleport anywhere so I've been walking around everywhwere. I got to Hook Island and now i'm suck. From what i have been reading I need to restart and go talk to my mother before I venture off on that quest. Ill try it tonight and let ya'll know if that worked.

I loaded the last saved game before i when on the Hook island quest. I cannot find Maze or my mother anywhere??? Anyone got a sugestion???

Try this

Yeah Havok066 make sure you have completed the first part of the quest, when first teleport to Hook coast and investigate the magical wall. Then you can teleport back to the guild, where you have to go to Maze's quarters to get a book. After that return to Hook coast and go to the wall again, the guild master should start speaking a chant to disable the barrier.

I tried that. I battled the undead and activated the portal. When to the Red barrier and was told to return to the Guild. Still nothing. I can teleport anywhere!!! Im Fragging stuck. Is there a quest that involves the teleporters or the guild seal? I have followed that main quest just as i am suppose to. Could this be another qlitch in the game?

I don't mind starting over as long as I know that this isn't going to happen again!!!

its something wrong with the game... and I don't know how to fix it...

Lady Grey

It'z not a bug i don't think. Becuz if you've done the quest to expose Lady Grey and you don't cover it up, she will deactivate all existing cullis gates. So i don't know, it could be that or it could be a bug.

i heard its a bug where one tries to do the marry lady grey quest and send grey to jail.

I've heard the same thing. That's the only time I've heard of something like this happening.

Are we talking about the xbox version? Or Pc?

I played on XBox.

Did you do that thing where you marry lady Grey and then send her to jail? That could have done it.

I'm sure it's fixable, but it never happened to me. If i ever get around to it i might go beat the game up to that point again and see if i can fix it. Until then good luck.

hey guys, i had the exact same problem. To re activate the teleport again you just have to make your way back up to gibbet hills, a fink its called. then you will get a quest card and your teleport should be working againt. peace x

I have the same problem. I am running TLC for PC, and I am on the Drowned Ship quest. How can I fix this?
