Hey guys!
i am wondering if i should buy TOB. I've a few questions:
1- Is it short? Cos when i bought Heart of winter for Icewind dale it was jus so damn short. I completed it by the day i bought it. And worst of all the price was like average game.
2- Is there only dungeons? I mean no cities or HUMAN resident places? CAN ANYONE HEAR ME BESIDES THE SCARY MONSTERS?! hehe i didnt mean scary though Beholders do look like crap.
3- More exp limit? I swear to god in BG2 by the time i got to 5th chapter i had exp limit full.
4-QUESTS!???? A LOT OF THEM!!!! ASSASSINATION QUESTS FROM THIEVE'S BOSS TO KILL SOME RICH DUDE and stuuf like that???? like the ones in BG2 whith bloodscalp and all that crap.

THX IN ADVANCE :)

Yes, ToB is really, REALLY great! :)
But I'll try to be more organized and answer in proper order ;)
1) It is not short.
2) There is not only dungeons, there are two cities (well, a city and a village actually) and another locations. And there is Whatcher's Keep - it is so beutiful, so enigmatic, almost breathtaking...
3) Exp limit in ToB is equal to 8 000 000 points :) . It means that characters would be around 30-40 level near the end of ToB. And there are special high-level abilities - very nice feature!
4) Of course, there is not so many quests as in SoA, but most of them are much harder...

Try ToB, it is definately worth it :)

Positives:

lots of extra quests
experience cap raised significantly
many new spells
many new skills for non-spellcasters
a new class, the Wild Mage
a new party NPC, Saverok
a few really tough boss types
great new dialog
relationships finalized

Negatives:

pretty linear

...that's it, IMO!

To sum up, a beutifully ending to the Bhall Spawn saga.
