Had a conversation with Keria early in the game. I said some good & bad things to her & got Light Side points, Drak Side points (must have neutraled themselves out). Then also noted a "Net Light Side Shift". What's that????

The 'total shift'.

I.e. +3 LS points +2 DS points (i.e. -2 LS points) = +1 LS point.

It's a term used in maths and economics.

Thanks Greg..... now I have to be Alan Greenspan to figure out where I sit with the witch :) May toss in GNP for good decimal point ratio.......

So basically it's a dark minus & light plus, or a light minus & dark plus, right??

It is as said by GregtheSleeper poster, just how much you actually shifted, because you got both light side and dark side.
It isn't any magic or major calculations behind just because (as GregtheSleeper said) the term is used in math/economics. The term is use in everyday life as well.

Just to be really annoying, but no ;)
Dark Side minus must mean you got Light Side plus as they are on opposing axises. :p

Thanks Xan, clear as mud now. Your right about everyday use, My boss said to me that I had a net bad attitude shift last night :)

Seriously, I get it now.
Bad & good (more good) = net light
Bad & good (more bad) = net dark
