Hotu: help needed.

The color puzzle on level 2 undermountain baffles me. Six colors are supposed to appear, but only yellow and green show.
After pulling the green chain a red wyrmling appears and attacks, the puzzle goes nowhwere after that.
Can anyone please give me some directions how to solve this?

you have to make a careful note of which colours come up. some colours may come up more than once, for example you could get purple, purple, red, green, green, purple, or not at all. you then pull the chains in the correct order and the correct number of times.

Only 2 colors show themselves in the ball over the well, yellow and green. No other colors appear, this is what baffles me. And as said after pulling the green chain a wyrmling attacks.

the colours have to be watched carefully as they don't change in an obvious way sometimes. for example it may be green, then have a very slight brief hardly noticeable fade to white before becoming green again. in which case it is green green (plus the next 4 colours) and so on. there will be 6 colours just sometimes its hard to spot them all. i usually pause as soon as each colour comes up and zoom right in on the colours to get a good look at them. if you do this you can see when it changes a lot easier. the wyrmling appears when you get the sequence wrong.

your welcome. i had a lot of trouble with that part of the game the first time through too. its definately tricky til you get the hang of it. hope it works
