I noticed that every time I choose to become the slayer a dialogue box appears asking if I would like to or not but why is this here? Is there a bad effect of slaying? Also if so what is it? And also how do I attain this bad side effect so I can know how to avoid it?

When you enter the mode, you automatically take a minus 2 reputation hit. Then if you stay in the mode for too long (not sure of the time) you die.

does anyone know the stats for the slayer? i know your strength and dex both go to 25 and your con goes to 18. your ac drops to an awesome -12. it also sets your HP to 100 and you get 4 attacks. what other effects are there? what is the damage you do with your claws? any other info will be greatly appreciated :mischief:

I know you can not be imprisoned as the slayer. That makes 2 fights in this game much safer.

I really hate that setting hp to 100 thing, it's so majorly useless. You die darn quickly in that form, should be set to 200 hp and have werewolf regen.

Worthless form, really. Go Gaider for the Ravager form. ;]
You get frost attacks and a lot of resistances as well with the form, but apart from that I don't think there's anything.

In the mod Ascension, by David Gaider, who was one of the creators of BG2, your slayer form increases in power at each 2 million XP cap. The top notch form is the Ravager, instead of the measly Slayer form.
