When you land at Dantooine, righ in front (back? opposite the ramp) of the Ebon Hawk is a container you cannot blast or hack or splice. Am I missing something or do I have to complete the planet to open it?

Can you even select it? Does it say *impossible* if you can not open it?

You can select it & try to pick it... says "impossible". Then I attach a bomb... it goes boom, then "impossible"... no bash option..... odd

Perhaps it will open later, or perhaps you should talk to the staff. Or maybe it is part of the plot development. I am off to check the walkthrough.

Either that, or it is unusable. Or just a bug for some minor items.

Ummmm, did you use a gas or sonic mine on it, because they don't work very well most of the time. Try a plasma charge or, less idealy, a frag mine. Those worked for me. If those don't work, there might be a problem with the game. Don't worry too much about it though, its just a bunch of lame crap in that box anyway (I last got a hyper adrenal somethingerather, an arkanian energy shield, and 62 creds, nothing to go crazy about).

You might try coming back with some thorium charges :laugh:

That container cannot be opened with your security skill, but must be blasted open with an average mine or better.

That having been said, there is nothing special in it , just a normal random drop.

Thanks all. Got it figured out. 2 problems I was doing
1. Never blow open a container with a gas mine.... just doesn't work
2. Lay off the Bantha Brew. Went back today on just Jawa Java & discovered my inventory only has gas mines, thus leading to conclusion #1
