Odd happenings after v1.9 patch

I have recently installed the "improved and corrected" v1.9 patch and things seem to be going well. I did notice one odd thing as I started a new game: when the opening scene plays out, with the death of your sire, the camera angles jump dramatically at different spots. There are new angles I have never scene before and they are on the screen for only a brief second. It's the same opening you always see, but with more jumps in angles and faster transitions between scenes. Is this just me, or has anyone else encountered this issue, or other issues with the newest patch?

chinatow is VERY funny though when we talk about patch 1.9 bugs!

A lot of doors dont work there...

But one seems to just have to replace the files from 1.9 with those from 1.2 possible also from other pacthes then one can get into the doors and after you have been inside already then replacing the files with 1.9 again and you are back to the 1.9 pacth... gets a bit annoying how many times one have to do that though!!

Yeah, Chinatown rulez - remember Mandarine? You can talk only with his image on TV screen - well, camera after patching up pierced thru the floor and I faced Mandarine who was standing on the second floor of the Fu Syndicate building. Got a screenshot somewhere...

And once he was running in one place - he was running, but there was no progress in that - like runnin' on belts in the gym, that was totally stupid tee hee

Mines giving me an error before it even comes up with the title screen, it crashes and says:

"Parent template 'Scurrying' not loaded before dependant template NPCGeneric'".

Help, anyone tech-savvy?

After reading numerous threads here (and on Planet Vampire) I just found too many bugs to cope with. There were fixes listed, but it requires one going into the packaged files in the program, and I am not comfortable nor am I savvy enough to do that to apply all the fixes that should have been finished in the new v1.9 patch.

I tried to re-install the v1.8 and remove the newer items, but that didn't work. So...I was left with a complete un-install and re-install...now I am back in business with the official v1.2 patch and the v1.8 patch (which never caused me any problems).
